linksbioI started drawing at a very young age. I don't recall ever not having a pencil or crayon in my hand and I was always scribbling on something, whether it be a piece of scrap paper or the hall carpet.This obsession stayed with me right through to adulthood. It wasn't until I was in my last year at high school that I discovered graphic design and decided to follow this path, believing there were more job opportunities as a graphic designer than as a fine artist.After graduating from the Wanganui School of Design with an honours degree in Computer Graphic Design, my focus in the design industry has been primarily print based. Initially, drawing and painting took a back seat while I gained industry experience in design, however now I enjoy combining my love for illustration with my design work wherever possible.I currently freelance as a graphic designer / illustrator and really enjoy what I do. I consider myself extremely lucky to get paid for doing what I love most.I started drawing at a very young age.
